PHILIPPONNAT

The House of Philipponnat is one of the leading names in Champagne, and its name is closely linked to that of Clos des Goisses, the largest of the Champagne clos (nearly 5.5 hectares). The least we can say is that Philipponnat champagnes have personality! Aged between seven and nine years to achieve maximum complexity and bring out the secondary and tertiary aromas that are the hallmark of prolonged aging on the lees! Cuvée Grand Blanc, made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes, is an exception in the Philipponnat wine range, which has made Pinot Noir its signature grape variety!

And the Réserve Millésimé Brut Long Vieillissement 1999, because at Philipponnat, old vintages are kept "on point" in the cellars and disgorged on demand after long ageing. In this case, this 1999 vintage was disgorged in October 2019!
