Domaine François Bertheau wines

The domaine produces powerful, delicate red wines from the Pinot Noir grape variety. What they have in common is the elegance, finesse and purity associated with this grape variety and François Bertheau's winemaking expertise. The wines are fruity, powerful and complex on the nose and palate.

The domaine produces Bonnes-Mares appellation wines. These are some of Burgundy's most famous grands crus. This red wine is characterized by aromas of violets, with hints of animal, moss and wet earth. It can be kept for 30 to 50 years. The Chambolle-Musigny appellation's range of wines is more feminine. They are available as : Chambolle-Musigny, Chambolle-Musigny Premier Cru, Chambolle-Musigny Premier Cru Les Amoureuses, Chambolle-Musigny Premier Cru Les Charmes and Chambolle-Musigny Grand Cru. These wines are generally drunk young, although the best vintages can age well.
