ROULOT

Domaine Roulot has been in existence since 1820. In 1989, Jean-Marc Roulot took over the reins of the family domaine following the untimely death of his father Guy, a leading figure in Burgundy wines. The young winemaker continued the impetus given by Guy Roulot, while making his own personal mark. In 1999, he converted the vineyard to organic viticulture, followed by biodynamic viticulture in 2010. The estate's development is now based on respect for terroirs and natural balances. A trained actor, Jean-Marc Roulot makes life the main actor in the making of his wines.

Geographical location of Domaine Roulot

Jean-Marc Roulot's domaine is located in Meursault, in the heart of the Côte de Beaune. The vineyard covers some 13 hectares of vines, 85% of which are used to make the estate's white wine: Chardonnay (94%) and Aligoté (6%) grapes. The estate's red wine is made from Pinot Noir.
