Geographical location of Domaine Pierre Labet

Domaine Pierre Labet owns just over nine hectares of vines. Half the plots are planted with Pinot Noir, the other half with Chardonnay. Most of the vines are located in the Côte de Beaune, more specifically in Meursault, Beaune, Chorey-lès-Beaune and Savigny-lès-Beaune. The domaine also owns a few vines in the Côte de Nuits, in Gevrey-Chambertin.

Domaine Pierre Labet wines

Domaine Pierre Labet's vines are grown using organic methods. To regulate yields and ensure wine quality, the vines are disbudded. However, the estate does not practice green harvesting. The red wines are vinified in whole bunches. These wines are neither fined nor filtered before bottling. White wines undergo natural fermentation for 6 to 8 months. White wines are lightly fined before bottling.

For red wines, Domaine Pierre Labet produces a Beaune Premier Cru Coucherias. This wine is accompanied, in the Village appellation, by the Beaune Clos des Monsnières and Clos du Dessus des Marconnets reds. In Côte de Nuits red, the domaine offers a Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes. A Bourgogne Pinot Noir completes the domaine's range of red wines.

For white wines, the domaine offers a Savigny-lès-Beaune Premier Cru Les Vergelesses. The Village appellation includes a Meursault Les Tillets and a Beaune Clos du Dessus des Marconnets white. The domaine also produces a Bourgogne Chardonnay Vielles Vignes.
