Location of the Rodrigo Méndez estate

The Rodrigo Méndez estate is located in Galicia, northwest of the Rias Baixas region of Spain. The vineyards cover just over one hectare in the commune of Meaña, Rodrigo Méndez's native village. The estate's vineyards are not typical of this ocean-facing region of Spain. Part of it is located in the mountains, surrounded by pine forests. Another part is located on the coast, at a lower altitude. Rodrigo Méndez relies on his family's vineyards, which include century-old albariño vines. The terroir and microclimate give the estate's wines their Atlantic character.
