BODINES

The Domaine des Bodines was created in the Jura, a department that some describe as the "cradle of wine". Created in 2010, thanks to the ingenuity of Emilie and Alexis Porteret, this 3.7-hectare estate stands out for the quality of its vines.

At Les Bodines, in the Arbois area, we place a premium on taste that reflects the realities of the Jura terroir. This is why we don't hesitate to use biodynamic viticulture, treating the vines with sulfur and copper to keep as far away from chemicals as possible. The grapes are harvested by hand. Destemming is also done by hand on a wooden screen. In order to offer consumers the very best wine, vinification is as simple and natural as possible. To ensure fermentation, the wine is placed in foudre or pièce, depending on the cuvée. The wine is then bottled without the slightest addition of yeast, fining or chaptalization. Maceration lasts one month, without punching down. At Les Bodines, we accompany the wines without really intervening in the process.
