MASS

Since 2000, Fabrice Masse has been managing the family estate, which was previously run by his father Roland. Today, Domaine Masse is committed to sustainable viticulture, with low yields and respect for the environment. The vineyard soils are worked by surface ploughing and clawing. No fertilizers are added. The vines are cultivated in an integrated manner.

The domaine's red and white wines are among our selection of great Burgundy wines. The Masse family's work in the vineyards since 1595 is a guarantee of quality backed by centuries of know-how.

Location of Domaine Masse

Domaine Masse is located in Barisez, to the east of the Givry appellation in Burgundy. The estate's vineyards extend over 15 hectares in the terroirs of Givry, Mercurey, Montagny, Rully and Maconnais. Givry and Givry Premier Cru make up the bulk of the family estate's parcels. The red wine is made from Pinot Noir and the white wine from Chardonnay. The soils and exposure of the terroirs favor these grape varieties, which are typical of the Côte Chalonnaise and Burgundy wines.
