REBOURSEAU HENRI

The origins of Domaine Henri Rebourseau date back to 1782. Founded by Jacques Rebourseau, it has become one of Burgundy's most emblematic estates. Domaine Henri Rebourseau is one of the largest proprietors of Grands Crus in the Côte de Nuits. In 1980, Pierre Rebourseau entrusted the estate to his grandson, Jean de Surrel. The latter began by adopting integrated vineyard management. Then he took the step to 100% organic viticulture, combined with biodynamic viticulture. His wines are among the elite of our selection of great Burgundy wines.

Geographical location of Domaine Henri Rebourseau

Located between the villages of Gevrey-Chambertin and Vougeot, Domaine Henri Rebourseau cultivates 13.5 hectares of vines. Jean de Surrel and his sons, Bénigne and Louis, passionately care for the oldest terroirs of the Côte de Nuits. These exceptional vines are planted on land that has been cultivated for over 1,400 years. Each plot of Pinot Noir is steeped in history, like La Perrière, or the renowned Clos de Vougeot. For Jean de Surrel, each appellation must be brought to its very best, respecting the soil and climate of each parcel.
