Domaine Armand Rousseau wines

Domaine Armand Rousseau produces mainly red wines from Pinot Noir grapes. The vines are grown using sustainable agriculture methods. Depending on the vintage, green harvesting is carried out to guarantee optimum wine quality. Vinification takes place in open vats for around twenty days. The wine is aged in oak barrels for over 20 months.

Domaine Armand Rousseau produces six Grands Crus de Bourgogne. These are Grands Crus Chambertin, Chambertin-Clos-de-Bèze, Charmes-Chambertin, Mazy-Chambertin, Clos-de-la-Roche and Ruchottes-Chambertin. These exceptional wines can be kept for a long time, or even very long for the best vintages. Another outstanding wine from the domaine is Gevrey-Chambertin Clos Saint-Jacques. Although it is a Premier Cru appellation, the quality of this red wine equals that of the Grands Crus.
